Interesting RA-103 on the Bay

Was the cab really painted like this, or did some PO do it?

That was the rare Zebra model......

That one has been on eBay before. Definitely not factory. Some "crafter" got their evil mitts on it.

I'd hate to see it go onto the bonfire. On the other hand, I don't want to be the one who has to get all the paint out of those nooks & crannies. The difficulty depends on what kind of paint they used, whether they bothered to clean off the household grime before painting, etc. If you're lucky, they slopped latex on top of 50 years worth of bacon fumes and it will come off easily.

Fairly common Teleset. Looks like the hippies went artsy on it. I'd grab the chassis as a parts set if I were close.

...or, finish the paint job with a late 60's psychedelic paint scheme. Some hot pinks and lime greens, methinks.

Not Day-Glo enough for my nostalgic taste...
Looks like a graphic-art-school dropout had too much paint fumes and Lewis Carroll on their mind.
