film wants to rent my Philco Danish Modern TV

A top-notch company wants to rent my original Philco Predicta Danish Modern/Continental TV for a documentary and I would like to know its value. I've searched the Internet with no luck.

They want it for two days and I need to know what to insure it for.

It doesn't work (they don't care) but it's in great condition.

Thanks in advance.

Warning: the risk of damage is not insignificant. If you care about the set at all, I would have them insure it for a ridiculously high amount. They can afford it.

Or, if you're not in love with it, tell 'em you prefer to sell it outright, again at a price that makes you very, very happy. I have sold a couple of insignificant items to production companies at prices that would make coffee come out your nose.

Just my $0.02.

You confirmed what I was thinking. My Dad was the original buyer and it has been in my family ever since, so I am not going to risk having it damaged.

Thank you so much. I'll just swallow and enjoy my coffee and watch my blank TV.

Do they want it for Mad Men? :scratch2:

Never mind, you said it was for a Documentary.
