Look at that chassis, was it made by Muntz?
It seem a little short on tubes and knobs.

LOL - it sure does. That's only a few miles from me. Dunno if I'd pay $50 though.

Every Meck I've ever seen was very cheaply built. I think they out-Muntzed Muntz!

The cabinet looks like it was made from the paneling taken from an old Mobile Home.

I'd give $50 for it though if it were close to me.
The CRT is worth that if it's OK.

your thinking in the wrong dimension. Cheaply built back then, and cheaply built today are WAYYYY different. cheaply built back then is luxurious quality than cheaply built today...


things cheaply built today you can tap it with your finger and something cracks or the whole thing falls apart.

Badged Scott. The thread tells the rest of the story. Still in storage. The chassis does look un-Muntz-like. Seems sturdy. I love the angular, cut-cardboard back that saves the cost of a CRT cup. And the side-speaker grille cloth is held in with masking tape.
