Philco hybrid on the 'Bay

This one made me think...but only for a minute. I'd really like to have a Philco-Ford color set. Has a few strikes against it, though:

1) There is a brightener in the back
2) Seller's feedback isn't so hot
3) Hard to tell for sure, but looks like white getter on the HOT?
4) Asking $225. Tempting to make an offer, but it would be a low one. With an unknown condition crt I wouldn't want to go north of $50, especially considering the ride up to Allentown.

I was looking at that. The aired out horizontal output tube and crt brightener aint to encouraging.

There was a Zenith about the same age on ebay that looked much nicer. I cant find it now.

Someone needs to have a look at that flyback...
