Curtis-Mathes: Help ID This Model

1 Attachment(s)
My girlfriend inherited this stereo-TV console from her mother. We moved it out of storage this weekend. It needs a power cord and probably other work.

Anyway, can someon help ID the model name and year?

I do know the TV is a color TV.

Stereo is on the left side. On the right side are the volume controls for the stereo and AM-FM.

Thanks, Merle

PS Where can I find someone in Houston to work on this baby and get it tuned up?

Take a look at post #3 in this link:

Your set looks like "The Williamsburg"

I think you'll find that it's probably a B&W set though, a color set of that era would have had a round screen.

Are you sure it's color? It sort of looks like a B&W to me.

If it is color, I'd say it's from the '65-'70 time period. Color sets before '65 had round CRT's.

If it's B&W, I'd say between '60-'65.

Do you know if the stereo portion is solid state or tube type? If the stereo is solid state, it probably won't be older than about '64-'65. A tube stereo would likely make it no newer than '65.

that set is NOT color. Still a cool set...
