cheap and close. If nothing else I would get it for the CRT if its a good one. |
That's a lower line Zenith mid-eighties..not sure what CRT it has.
That set looks almost identical to the 1978 Chromacolor2 that's in my living room. Only difference I see is on the cabinet below the screen where mine has fake door handles.
I was hoping for a delta gun crt like a 23 or 25v
thats a "g" chassis zenith from the mid to late 70s.vertical modular and one of the very best.that 23v should be a stunner!grab it!
I agree. Mid to late '70's 23V Zenith CCII with delta gun CRT. You need to jump on it.
Really? It at least looks to have a replacement CRT though...Can't beat the price!
Not saying that none were made; but, I've never seen an '80's Zenith console with dual knob tuners. I've seen some one knob Zenith "electronic tuning" consoles as new as the mid '80's.
tried calling no answer, I will give it another try later.
emailed, called a couple more times, left a message. doesnt seem to be going anywhere.
Hopefully you get that set and they contact you finally. I really dig that set!
Yup... NICE Chromacolor 2. Not a lower line model and doubtful that it's a replacement CRT. Looks like a 23" and I think it does have Chromatic Auto Color. Probably a 75 or 76 model. On Zenith sets, if you see a console with NON electronic tuning it's a Chromacolor. System 3 Consoles only used electronic tuning.
I hope they contact you back either way. I've noticed quite a bit of "flakeyness" on CL as of late, but that would be a whole other rant/topic. |
gone, oh well, my wife will be happy.
