I REALLY wonder sometimes if civilisation can-Even SHOULD-survive at the hands of this upcoming bunch of Barbary apes...

We can only hope that he had a whole stack of his "best" rap on duh table when it went up...

This doesn't even make any sense? So some guy lights his Magnavox on fire and then tries to sell it on craigslist for $150 :screwy: :headscrat: :nutz: :para: :dunno:

jeyurkon 06-05-2010 07:53 PM

Aren't the turntable motors impedance protected? Looks more like he spilled his 150 proof vodka drink down it.

LOL I have that exact TV combo you can see it and it hasn't caught on fire yet! And man for $150.00 for a burned one?then mine is worth thousands! I would have to say it took that thing a while to burn that far it is pretty thick wood on the area of the turntable "I tink dat dudez iz a lya"

DaveWM 06-05-2010 09:32 PM

I don't speak jive, but I think the idea is that DJ "Xtreeme" was rather violent with the turntable, thus resulting in a fire. The fire was put out, but not before the turntable suffered damage. However, since "John" says old stereos are worth money, he's trying to sell the other side of the unit. Make sense? :scratch2:

I once knew an old retired missionary lady who used to tell a story about a barn burning down because rock 'n' roll records were stored therein.

I can imagine her looking at that ad and simply saying "See...?!"
