Saw this posting on craigslist. Way too far away from me, but maybe someone here is willing to save this? Dont know what its worth, but just though id let everyone know.

It looks great, it's got a remote and it's free! I can't find anything about the Douglas brand TV - maybe a west coast manufacturer?

Someone ought to rescue this from becoming a wine rack or something...

That's a rare set... But the whole thing is whether the remote is there or not. I've seen several remotes, but never the TV. They had one that was an end table with radio, TV control, and record player in it.

Lompoc is only about 2 hours from me, but I don't have any interest in another big 24 or 27 inch console.

They might be willing to meet half way?? Who knows where their regular travels take them.
Heck, it sounds like they really want to find a good home for it.

250+ miles from me, and I have no space, or I'd be tempted to pick that set up too. It is an interesting one.
