Did anybody like Betty White on SNL?

It was a great show in every way. It opened with a skit that is a take-off of The Lawrence Welk Show which I think is hilarious as it is. The SNL skit takes it into humor that is a bit too juvenile for me with the semi-retarded girl being part of what is a version of The Lennon Sisters. However, considering they have to appeal to the majority's mind-set I think they did a great job.

Yeah, I thought it was a good episode. It was a little strange too because they had a bunch of old cast members making an appearance. Like Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon. That opening Welk sketch is a running gag they done 4 or 5 times before - all funny IMHO. Likewise, that parody of a Hispanic talk show where they danced every time a new guest came out has been done a few times. I think the weirdest bit was the death metal digital short thingy.

I forgot that spanish channel take off! That is one of the great ones because it is very muich like the real thing with just a little more of what is so wacky in the real one. There are all types in every culture but more than any other culture it seems latins have se on thier minds over all else. That is certainly how they treat me. So much so I never want se again!
