This seller seems cool, wants his set to go to a collector(Kenosha/Racine CL)
 

He is obviously the original owner if the story he tells is true. He might even have the book for it somewhere. I have NO room or I'd go for it. Offer a fair price and see what he says.

I sometimes wish there were more old sets like this floating around New Zealand still. The big consoles were made here by various manufactures here but alas they have all literally vanished....:tears:

Well, I passed word on to Tom up in milwaukee and he called to try to save it on the 15th. Apparently it was too late and he had his movers "dispose" of it the day he moved and its now gone. That set looked mint, god that pisses me off that its gone. I sent an email to ask for the movers contact info, it might still have a slight chance to be rescued before being crushed for eternity.

Well, I've mulled things over for a few days and acted too late too - on cars, real estate and electronics. On the other hand, one time I responded to a CL ad and didn't get a reply until months later. Don't hold your breath, but there's a glimmer of hope yet.

Anyone hear anything else about this one or should we say RIP?
