I could be wrong but that sure looks like a Chromacolor 2. That would make it a solid state with a delta gun tube.

Yep, about 1976-7, maybe even newer judging by the shape of the screen and look of the bezel. It's worth saving if you're close enough.

This is a tough one. It could be a CCII; but, I don't see the familiar words "solid state chromacolor II" below the Zenith name. Some of the very last CCII's from late '79 did not have this wording. It could also have the flat SS chassis that we all love. Most of those had the words "solid state" on the lower right hand corner; but, the knobs look too new to be that old. Heck, it could even be one of their rare SS B&W consoles. I've never seen a system 3 console with dual tuners; but, there could have been one.

Whatever, it's a Zenith, it's at least 30 years old, and it's FREE; so, it's worth getting!

Probably not, now that I looked at it again. And, the CRT face looks like a color tube. Now, I'm anxious for someone to get this so we can see for sure what we have.

Definitely a Chro II. Probably 25FC45 chassis.

Looking at the scale of the knobs to the screen size, I think that is a 19" set... Or was that too obvious to mention?

I was thinking the same thing. If it is a 19" set, it really needs to be saved as I doubt there are too many 19" consoles around.

as much as I would like to save it, looks like I may have to pass, just no room and the wife is not happy (I tried to rearrange the garage last nite to make room).

Whoever gets it, make sure it doesn't still have that white safety cap.

Any chance it is one of the 21" consoles they made for a few years?
