I would bet this is similar in quality those "Crosley" Record Players you see all over the place, or those 5" Chinese "Jellybeans" I've been collecting.

I'd gladly pay that for almost any real retro tv before I'd spend it on this one..

Interestingly, some of the current 19" or 20" el cheapo Turkish made CRT sets have a pale phosphor screen with a very rounded shape, surrounded by an old-style bezel, and a boxy cabinet that give a pleasant 1960s look to them.

They are serious shit that only lasts a couple of years though, and are absolutely disgusting inside, just a little flimsy chassis with undersized pressed steel heatsinks, a Lithuanian 90-degree CRT that usually starts to go after less than 1000 hours, and a flimsy silver painted plastic cabinet that isn't rigid enough to support the CRT when the back is removed.

Probably will get yanked - "Predicta" was trademarked in 1999/2000 by a guy in Wisconsin that made "new" Predicta televisions from RCA chassis. Smart move - it appears Philco never trademarked the name.

Retrovisions use a Taiwanese chassis, IIRC.

IIRC, Korea uses a different broadcast modulation method than the 8VSB the ATSC uses in the USA, so don't be tempted to grey market import one!
