Want to see Leave It To Beaver?
Yaay! Shout Factory is releasing the ENTIRE SERIES in a 37 disc set, that's 5610 minutes of Beaver!
Remastered from new prints. If you pre order it's $139.00, a lot for sure but it's the whole show from start to finish so it's a pretty good deal. You'll also be able to get Season 3 individually if you already have the first two, others may follow. I've been waiting forever to get more LITB!:yes: |
I wonder if i have seen EVERY EPISODE :D (I love that show)
Out of curiosity, if you don't mind, how old were you guys (or were you born yet) when LITB first aired?
That will certainly be in my shopping cart. One of my favorite series ever! I was born the same year it began, 1957.
I love the series, too. Especially when that dirty sneak Eddie Haskell is on.
The only thing I didnt like, was near the end of the series. Beaver was still doing dumb kid stuff, and he was hitting puberty! I was born in late 1956, and can remember when Beaver was still on network TV. |
I was still an Egg when it started. :D
Its great that these shows are available uncut. The ones on TVLand are misery to watch... there's so much stuff cut for more commercials...
I was an egg around the time it ceased production. I do remember it as a syndicated rerun on one of the local stations, but that's a very early childhood memory. Didn't really get a chance to watch it again until our town got cable TV in 1976. It was already pretty dated by then.
I THINK I can remember it still being "1st run"...It went off in '63, when I started 1st grade...
Sandy, you and I are around the same age. Stay away from my cousin Don there in Rogersville! He likes to solicit business!!!
I got to see the first episode of Beaver a few days ago. "Beaver Gets Spelled" --uncut. Very funny first attempt. I had forgotten that Hugh Beaumont did a voiceover about 'tonight's episode of LITB' at the beginning of each of the early shows. Fine stuff!!! Bruce Asheville NC |
Bruce, I'm a June '57 model...Saw Sharon last night-we had to go to a reception for a family friend there. Saw Don, but didn't get to speak to him. I live a stone's throw from their "office" (grin).
