RCA Colortrack 2000 S.M.

Any Ideas on what causes it to act like it is attempting to change channels on it's own. It only does it on the coax. The A/V 1, 2,3,4 feed from sat box DVD or VCR works fine unless going through the coax connector.
this is the Colortrack2000 StereoMonitor with the huge remote pad Any clues?

YES... It's usually bad solder connections in the system control module (MSC001, MSC027, etc). You have to take the tuner and controller assembly out (two 6-inch square by 1-inch thick shielded boxes, and unmate them from each other, then take the cover off the MSC module (the one withOUT the antenna inputs on it), and resolder the connector pins and all of the chassis ground connections. That's a very common problem, and an easy fix.
