RARE-1972 Rogers-Majestic color TV
Here's the other 2 TV's I got today-Both CANADIAN made TVs
RARE-1972 Rogers-Majestic 23-inch color console It's a hybrid-both tubes and solid-state devices. Also-sweeet! A circa 1977 Electrohome-yes, an Electrohome 19 inch console-all solid state devices in chassis. French Provicial style cabinet. Also picking up a rare 23-inch Westinghouse color console- late 1960s as well in the new year as well:-) |

I thought that all Electrohome TV sets from about 1973 onwards were Asian
built, first by JVC. I mean consumer direct view CRT sets of course, not the projection units. |
Electrohome was big in Canada in the '60s and '70s. They touted their Deilcraft cabinetry and it really was very nice. I never heard much bad about their electronics either. Too bad they couldn't compete once the cheap Asian stuff started taking over.
