Dumont Tarrytown Acquisition

A radio collector I know has had this Dumont for a number of years and offered it to me a couple of years ago. I finally got around to picking it up this past Sunday. It is a model RA-113-B-8 "Tarrytown" combo unit. The cabinet is in very good condition with just a few scratches here and there. Although he had powered it up before, I brought it up on a variac and watched the current draw. The FM tuner works but I have not been able to get a raster yet. I have not tried the AM tuner or the phono yet. I'll get around to going through it one of these days. Inside the phono drawer was a manila envelope with the operating manual, installation instructions, hang tag, and card about registering for the warranty. Unfortunately the price is not filled in on the hang tag. All of this for the princely sum of: nothing.
