Another pre-war television project

Hello,

meanwhile I am working on another pre-war mirror lid set. There are no schematics or other informations available for me. The set has a long picture tube with a 16" diameter roundscreen and broken filaments. It was made by Loewe Radio in 1936 or 1937. The picture tube has two connectors, one looks like an anode connector, the other one has a screw. I assume that this is for evacuation. Somewhere I found the information that such large CRTs have to be evacuated again and again before using for television purposes.

There is a chance to get another CRT in good condition. Unfortunately, I could not found a silver getter or something else which shows the currently status of the vacuum. The filaments seem to be OK. But I don't want to heat the filaments since I fear that they will broken if there is no vacuum in this tube.

Does somebody has informations about such unusual CRTs, and can tell me what are those both connectors?

Kind regards,
Eckhard
