New Philco
 

Got this set at a texas thrift store. I have yet to plug it in to see if it worked. It is a hybrid set. Has a 25XP22 CRT. Not too bad for a 20 spot. Will haul it back to Georgia in the fall. The CRt does not have a cataract. The picture came out funny.

Hi Polaraman,
I actually had the same tv except in a 19 inch portable. It was originally my aunts tv that she bought new until she gave it to me when she got a floor model. It weighed a ton but played well with fantastic color until the flyback finally gave out. It lasted 30 years without ever going to the shop. Looks like a nice find!

That Philco is like the one you got a while back and sent me some parts from. Was noticing that seems this particular model is always missing the little door for the picture controls.

I have yet to check the chassis numbers on it. I was wondering if it was the same or not. It is a way better cabinet that the other one I had. It has a few nicks but it is still in pretty good shape. Was plenty surprised that it was not tossed by the thrift store. They usually toss sets that do not work. I can't wait till I get it to Geargia. I am driving my own car this time!!!!!
