I never saw this before. It is true. No one could receive the cbs color transmitions without modifing there bw tv set.the frame rate and horizontal scan frequency were very different.
This doomed the cbs color system.
Almost no one could get the color transmitions on there b&w sets. The advertizers who paid for the shows had no viewers! The system gave great color ,but no viewers!
