Good goin', Doug ! You're the only person I know who has one THIS early- I have 2 later models, one of which works dandily, & the other one which suffers from a loose tuning string that slips..These guys were Muy Expensivo, so not many were sold, yet a lot of them that are still with us are in decent shape-Their high price dictated they usually were well cared for, & not banged around like lesser sets were.

I thought the "Sailboat" was the first T/O....

Aside from the rubber wiring that needs replacing, they're pretty good performers. A little fiddly in the area of disassembly, but a neat set.

the sailboat is the first one, the bomber came second and was the set sold to the military as well.
