I started watching it about a quarter of the way through. Not the funniest thing I've ever seen, but it was pretty amusing.

I watched it last night on DVD, as Christmas specials go it was pretty good but not something I'd make a tradition of watching.

Silly and funny in moments - Elvis Costello "in" the bear was wonderfully off the wall.
