Historically interesting set, agree?

I'd do it in a heartbeat, but the "location-location-location" bugaboo strikes again....

John Marinello 10-24-2008 07:09 PM

I know the guy selling that. If someone is desperate for it, pm me.

Eric H 10-24-2008 07:19 PM

I saw that one was down to $15 Buy It Now, for that price how could anyone pass it up if it was close!

240sx4u 10-24-2008 07:33 PM

I can! LOL

Thats right near my dads house.

JB5pro 10-24-2008 07:45 PM

That's a nice looking set. I have never watched a Halolight but I would like to. I bet it's a neat effect at night.

Carmine 10-24-2008 08:20 PM

The two that I own work only marginally (never recapped) so I've never really "watched" them... :scratch2:

Wow of all the times to be out of town:tears::tears: I just got to my computer, saw the thread and checked it out:no::no: all ready gone, Did any one of us get it??? those are nice sets, my neighbors had one, not that impressive, but it did have a great pix they were still watching it in the late 90s (second set) I wanted that set so bad, but the greedy kids packed everything up and sold it at a consignment auction, :thumbsdn::thumbsdn:

zenith2134 10-25-2008 02:10 PM

There (was) a halolight on ebay in NY nearby but he wanted too much. Nice sets though!

rca2000 10-26-2008 08:29 PM

Yeah..."one of Us got it"...ME.

I Could NOT "let it die". It looks like a "COLD" set, with halo light. And now that gas is down to about $2 a gallon here, I CAN afford to go get it. Besides, I MAY have another 2000 to go after soon,. too.

Great ! Y'all know how I feel about a neat old set going "outside the family"...Most of the time, it just SHOULDN'T be done...

Carmine 10-28-2008 07:24 PM

By "cold" do I assume you to mean a transformer chassis?

zenithfan1 10-31-2008 03:24 PM

Glad to see it saved!

Dan Starnes 10-31-2008 05:15 PM
