RCA 32" Main IC
I am working with an RCA model 32F530T TV.
The chassis number is ATC113-CD4. I am having some vertical issues and found that freezing the main 56 pin IC will change the way it acts, so apparently the chip is failing thermally. The Chip is a TB1253CN. I am having trouble locating it but the TB1253AN can be found pretty easily and at a pretty good price. So the question is, can I use the AN in place of the CN? Thanks |
I'd give Mat Electronics a call - 1-800-811-5177. They have a large stock of RCA Chassis, all "for parts Extraction only" and might have one with your TB1253 chip.
For example, they have a 20F514 chassis (complete) for only $9.95 - I've bought M134 chassis from them and fixed several sets with just one chassis. They are very helpful folks, and buy just once and you'll get catalogs from them 'til the cows come home. Cheers, |
Thanks for the info,
I was just curious if anyone else has run into this. I’m trying to find out whether there are any actual differences between the two suffixes that would keep one from working in place of the other. If not I can get the 1253ANs all day long from MCM for under 8 bucks. |
Vance Baldwin also has them, as will TriTronics in Maryland.
