They all come apart? that woudl almost make it worth owning. Reminds me of the CM entertainment centers a little. Color to boot!

It's different, all right! Actually, I believe it's a 19" B&W set. I've had several Packard-Bells with that bezel. About 1965. Seller says it comes apart. I see interconnect cables, and I see spaces, I think, in between. If it were color, I'd grab it. Also, I wonder why there's a cataract on a B&W tube? I guess if I think hard enough, I remember seeing a hand full of bonded-glass B&W tubes. If it were a $1.00 "save it" auction, I'd be tempted. Thank goodness it's $99, since I won't pay that for it, hence, I don't need to make any room for it :)

I guess it is a B&W set, i assumed it was color because of the cataract.

The oldest mention of bonded picture tubes that I've seen was for some Admiral b/w sets around '61 or so. But maybe most manufacturers thought it wasn't worth the extra money to go bonded. I've seen some very minor delamination on a b/w tube, but nothing like this one. It is a unique set. Probably a very short list of people out there who would pay a hundred bucks for it, though.

It almost looks like it's made to be in a horizontal row like a danish-modern wall shelf unit maybe about 3 ft off the floor on a rack of some sort. Those shelf-and-cubby units were popular in the early 60's so it could easily fit in with one of those.

I think it's kinda cool. If it worked and was close I would be tempted. But I would try to get a better price...cause I'm cheap!
