Discovery Channel Series "When We Left Earth"
 

I grew up watching the entire space program unfold on TV but watching this series has me simply amazed once again at what this country is able to accomplish in a short amount of time.
Wonderful program. Simply beautiful footage. I'm going to have to own it on DVD.

I love shows like this also. Do you know what time and day of the week its on?

Oops sorry bout steppin on your thread man. I watched it last night (Mercury and Gemini) and tonight the Apollo missions are on. A commercial came on and I hurried to let people here know about it.

Awe crap! My satellite is screwing up again. For some reason the higher channels on my Direct TV have been breaking up a lot lately. It seems like it always happens when there is something on I want to watch.

I'm just glad other members are enjoying this series. It's killer.:thmbsp:

The only time mine breaks up is during heavy rain.

Yep, I just had my neighbor help me check it. It sounds like he has had the same problem as I have. Some days it comes in good and others it doesn't if its clear out or not.

I think its the satellite but I guess its time to trade it in for an HD receiver anyway.

Man that Saturn V was some kind of rocket eh? What a monster.
