Have you tried www.partsolver.com They have a lot of nos parts for my Panasonic CT 101 micro crt color, like crts and yokes battery holders, etc. but sold out of plastic parts gosh darn it.

musta been a browser fart.
went back later and its working.
since i was told that fewer than 1000 were imported there arent going to be many spare parts around.
GOOD NEWS IS I CAN EASILY MAKE A PACK.
AND COSMETICLY THIS SET IS NEAR PERFECT.

That is good news, I looked at the battery holder for my Panasonic CT-101 and it would be a real problem to try to make one fo it. The recharge contacts are seperate from the power out contacts, I guess so folks won't try to recharge alkalines.

Panasonic TR-001

Do you still need the nicad battery part #? I have a TR-001 with the original box, battery, charger and car charger/adapter. I received as an award for "Best Engineer/Technician 1972" from a Panasonic dealer I worked for when I was in High School. I've misplaced the user's and service manuals and can't find them on the web.
Any idea where I might find them?
Peace,
DrRick

According to the 1974 Eveready catalog, it uses eight CH-500 NiCad batteries. By the looks of the picture, a CH-500 is a rechargeable AA.

Did the TV come with a separate battery adaptor to install AA's?
