Interstella 5555-Daft Punk
 

I just got done watching this and WOW. This is an amazing movie. I love it.

So, has anyone else seen it? Highly recommended for fans of Daft Punk. I don't know what the neighbors thought, though....:D :music:

I've seen it. I'm not an anime fan but the video was pretty good:thmbsp:

I usually don't like any anime, but this is just the exception to the rule.....

Just watched it again on my iPod, and I still think that this should have been a bigger hit....

That was animated by one of my favorite Japanese animators- Leiji Matsumoto, who was the creator of Space Cruiser Yamato/Star Blazers, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, Galaxy Express 999, Queen Millenia, and many other anime movies and TV series.

I stumbled upon that film when stage6.com was working. It is a bizarre film. Kinda reminds me of Yellow Submarine without the dialog. It definitely has that 70/80's animation feel. i think had heard one of daft punk's songs and went on google binge to find out some info on them. if you like bizzare films and Anime you should search out a Film called "Mindgame" and "Paprika"
