Sweet!

It would appear that it needs to have the deflection yoke straightened just a bit, but otherwise a nice "fly-in-the-amber" for a collector.

I hope somebody saves it too... For some reason I like those later large-screen B&W sets. Probably cause I saw a lot of them in basements as a kid.

I hate my house's small basement!

DO you want that set? Naperville is about 5 miles away.

I couldn't afford the shipping....

:(

I'm tempted. I'm also about 5 miles away in Wheaton, IL. My parents always bought Zenith sets from the late 50's, on. This set looks like the one we had when I was a kid in early 60's.

No room at the inn here, just hate to see it junked. One day I'll have a sanctuary for unloved TVs.

That WOULD be a shame to see it meet Mr. Dumpster...

What do these usually sell for?

I MIGHT save it if no one else does, not what I'm looking for but it's nice.

I wish I had a basement at all. These darn California houses... I miss the houses in Chicago, though I never lived in one growing up there.

Well, I bid on it...we'll see what happens....:scratch2:

I have a version of that set in a different cabinet, pic here (taken just after I refinished the top): http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/att...9&d=1163979151 It's a great set, I use it all the time.

That cabinet looks nice! Great picture too!

Where the hell is Naperville?
