Toshiba 32" schematic needed
 

I've got friend with a toshiba model CS30D50 with shorted vertical output.And he needs a schematic, Any help would be much appreciated.

Vert out on a LOT of units is the LA7838 integrated circuit (plus about 6 caps) a 13 pin sip power upright flatpack that directly drives the yoke.

my toshiba CF35c49 tv uses one- just checked the (paper, sorry)svc man,
as well as this monitor, a mitsubishi diamond pro 87txm which has been running on the nte and new nichicon pw's (3.3uf, 3x220uf, 470uf & 1000uf(low esr?) since march '07 for 24/7 flawlessly.

the (sanyo) la7838 pdf can be found in datasheetcatalog.com or google it.
it has sample application schematics, that's how i fixed my undocumented monitor.

it generates the ramps and drives directly to the yoke. it IS sensitive to the caps going sour, and they get a lot of ripple. the BIG one is probably low esr

sonys use the tda8172, a 7 pin sip power upright flatpack, again directly driving the yoke.

The schematic is not for me.Its for a old friend down in Florida.Thats exactly what I told him about his vert.collapse --replace all the vert. electrolytic caps and the vert. osc/output chip..Very common fix for vert. problems.I've been repairing CRT model TV.s since the vacuum tube days.(Early 70's) Worked for this man in the 70's until I joined the service.(author of the book below.) Homer L Davidson. While stationed in Florida I worked part time in the Sears service department Div.57 consumer electronics,TV's and Audio mostly Up until "Desert Shield/Storm".Went to the desert for 8 months,came back and Sears had already hired another part timer.Bastards!
