Help! Need Knobs

I have a Hoffman 1950 vintage tv, model 620, chassis 155 that came to me without the channel selector and the fine tuning knobs. This set is a 12LP4 crt blonde table model. I don't have a clue what these knobs should look like. Is anybody familiar with this model that could identify these? I think about all models from this era used the same knobs other than color. Any help with a detailed picture and or source is most appreciated!

I might have some of them,
there's a picture of a 620 here: http://www.tvhistory.tv/1949-Hoffman-620-12in.JPG

And my set that I thought was a 613: http://www.vintagetvsets.com/hoffman.htm

If yours is blonde however I think it should have clear or tan knobs instead of red?

Edit: took a few pictures.

The first set is a 10" Hoffman, the second is a 12" set, third is a close up of the channel selector, fourth is the fine tuning knob and last is what I thought was a Hoffman knob but it doesn't fit my set correctly, maybe a different model?

Anyway as I said I think Red knobs would be wrong for a Blond set but maybe you can use these picture to help you find the correct ones, I'd keep an eye on eBay and also contact Mike Koste of "Gobs of Knobs"

Here's a place I found once, but I haven't tried them.

I found this picture of a Hoffman. I don't know what model. Is the set in question like this or similar?

Eric's Ebay link took me to a Philco tube cabinet auction so I thought I would try to throw in this picture so we can establish what you need. I hope this works.....:thmbsp:

Oops. fixed the link, that was a previous cut-n-paste.

Help! Need Knobs

The first three pictures sure fit my set, although my small control knobs are indeed a tan or clear color. Could you by any chance give me some measurements of the channel selector knob and diameter of channel indicator? I need all the info i can get to take to a knob vender. Thanks

I am sending you a PM with Mike Koste's email address. I'm sure he wouldnt mind me putting it here but I don't take chances with peoples personal info.

You will find that Mike is a LOT of help and seems to have a lot of stuff.....

Be advised Mike Koste of Gobs Of Knobs is out of the knob business. He no longer has any!

I probably have them. For blond models, the channel knob is cream color with clear indicator ring, and the fine tuning knob (fits in the middle of the channel knob) is also cream. If you haven't gotten them yet, you're welcome to eMail me at [email protected] and I'll go look to verify I have them in cream (the mahogany models use the same knobs but in maroon.)

Best, Charles
