tonite on PBS at 9 est, les paul documentary. the father of electric guitar. even if your not into guitar it's worth watching i hope. a favorite LP of mine is Chester and Lester, chet atkins and les paul together. what a treat.

You do know that there was a second LP issued from that recording session, don't you? Chester and Lester - Guitar Monsters, RCA APL1-2786, released in 1978.

yea, i've got that one too but it's not as good as the first one.

I've got a promotional LP called "Chet Atkins, CGP (Country Guitar Picker) Stay Tuned" featuring George Benson, Larry Carlton, David Hungate, Earl Klugh, Mark Knopfler, Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro.

One of my all time favorites.

I need to get that Chester and Lester cd.

I taped the show, but overnight my PBS outlet reran it. I watched a good half hour. Excellent stuff... I can't wait to watch the whole show!
