This is the same model and color as the one "Old Rose" is watching at the beginning of Titanic.

Nice little 9" set... I didn't even notice the set in Titanic. I guess when I saw the film in the theater, the 70s TVs hadn't caught my eye yet. That one is a Sanyo.

I like small color sets; would love to find one of those 7" Panasonic tube hybrids from about '69 or '70... Only ever seen one.

Yep...I had a similar one from the 70's made for Magnavox by Sanyo.

Don't let the seller know it was in a movie!! $$$$$

I made a movie sighting recently: in Spielberg's "ET", there is a scene where school kids about to get on a bus are picking on the main-character kid. One of the smart-a$$ kids doing the picking is wearing some large, square-ish and slightly geeky-looking headphone things.

I recognized them instantly, because I have a pair: "Jetsound" radio headphones, originally made right here in Hong Kong! :D Its an AM/FM stereo radio built into a pair of big headphones. Sort of cool-looking, in an oversized and geeky way.:D

I like the set. I'm bidding on it.

When I started my site in 1999, I still had the DC power cord from that little set. If you win the set and I can find that cord, it's yours if you want it.

Thanks, if I get it I'll definately PM you about it. If its like most of my eBay purchases, I'll be lucky if I get the AC cord, let alone the DC one.

Thank you, but don't worry for me!

Do you like my avatar?:thmbsp:

That set went for more money than I was willing to spend. I didn't get it.
