Just bought one of these guys at an auction for $2. TV/Radio combo with channel one. Rough but restorable. My 1st antique TV (I collect radios).

Is is worth anything. Know anyone that restores the electronics in Eastern PA?

Sounds like you got a good deal.

From Harry Posters 1990 Price Guide:

"VK-101 13 channel 10" console, 1948. lower area tilts forward to expose AM/FM Radio controls and dial, $125"

That's for one in good condition, you say yours is rough but adjusted for eBay inflation it's probably still worth that :)

Sorry, I can't post a pic - don't have a digital cameara, beleive it or not. Been reading alot of posts and find this stuff interesting and informitive.

The set is rough but looks complete.

I plan to restore it sometime. I've refinished antique furniture my whole life, but plan to get an expert to do the guts.
