Sandy G 11-15-2006 11:03 AM

daro 11-15-2006 03:22 PM

What if the valves light up, that means the set is working right?
Nice girl, But I think she might be jail bait remember the old saying 15 will get you 20.

Charlie 11-15-2006 04:18 PM

Perhaps they should have instead used THIS photo...

 :D :thmbsp:

Sandy G 11-15-2006 04:34 PM

Damn Charlie, talk about a "long cool woman".....

John Marinello 11-15-2006 06:34 PM

I'm tempted to ask if the "remote control" is included...

DaWoofer 11-15-2006 06:39 PM

I like the question and answer at the bottom of the page.

Sandy G 11-15-2006 06:45 PM

Thanks Sandy! It certainly was well cared for. I tried it 9 months ago when I found it, and it still worked!

The unofficial slogan for Austin Texas is: Keep Austin Weird. I see she is doing all she can to make that happen. Austin is a very Hippie Dippie city. I do not think it can rival Boulder Colorado for the most 60's burnouts. :smoke: This web page will explain a lot to some non-Texans.

The scary thing about this is.... the girl kinda reminds me of my ex-sister-in-law... but she lives in Dallas now (last I heard).

daro 11-17-2006 09:47 PM

The picture of the girl is now gone from the site, But I did save a copy of the picture....

Tubejunke 11-17-2006 11:05 PM

I must have missed something. Something good it sounds like. I cant find the "boobs" anywhere in that ad!

Got Milk??

This is what you missed out on

This is the picture in question that was removed from the eBay post.

John Marinello 11-18-2006 09:44 AM

That was my fault that pic was removed. I asked if the "remote control" was included, and the seller responded with "There is no remote control with this set" (Duh). Then I fired right back with "Aw, come on... You clearly have a "remote control" in one of your pics, I'll bet she's not the original one though..." Then POW, pic was removed. The "FURIOUS" question was mine also. Now I'm tempted to ask if I could pick it up in person (tee hee), you bet every cop in Austin would be waitin' there...

fujifrontier 11-18-2006 01:37 PM

*snicker*

Carmine 11-18-2006 01:49 PM

This is the question you won't admit to:

Quote:

Q: Is it black and white or color?

A: It is painted teal green. Isn't this obvious?

Bobby Brady 11-18-2006 06:10 PM

That looks authentically early '60's!

That is a great photo(the one Charlie posted with the red head lady and the Predicta way in the backround)!

She reminds me how hot most women used to be!

Sandy G 11-18-2006 06:14 PM

Some people just don't have no sense of humor...

Bobby Brady 11-18-2006 06:21 PM

and everybody is so darn paranoid!

Makes me want to go into that room and meet that red head siren in Charlies photo!

I thought I did this already

The photo I posted came from the inner CD jacket from one of my favorites... The Mavericks.

http://www.amazon.com/Music-All-Occa.../dp/B000002OWN

If it wasn't for the track lighting in the top of the photo, I could have gotten away with making it black and white... and then telling you it was my grandmother back in the day! :D

Man I'd like to be the Predicta's rear crt cover. Hmmm....Also if she were a remote control she would be the perfect woman, one with a MUTE button! :thmbsp: Pause would work too. What about REWIND? Now theres an idea!! Especially for those of us above 35. :tears:

Here ya go...

Jim

Tubejunke 11-19-2006 08:36 PM

Nothing wrong with that remote FOR SURE! In fact the latest pic to me is the perfect American living room.

fujifrontier 11-19-2006 08:49 PM

*sigh* you guys are silly

John Marinello 03-04-2007 11:10 AM

He's back...

... And this time with a red one! The "rattle can" prowler strikes again!! He says it looks "untouched", but judging by the collage in one of his pics, I'd have to say that someone is fibbing. I'm tempted to ask if THIS ONE comes with a "remote control"...

I dated an ex stripper for a while who liked to wear some skimpy outfits, but the "What's not working ? The TV or her ?? Or both?" thing kinda nailed it. Arrogant AND lazy are qualities that can make a "hot" girl really ugly to live with. lol

As for the description, maybe the seller knew more about WHY the set wasn't working than he wanted to admit. Weren't the Predicta sets notorious for dud CRT's?
