I have watched this movie twice and I do not know what to make of it. Your reactions please!

Black comedy. Well done. Loved it.

pilotputz 04-24-2009 07:49 PM

I liked the movie but thought the ending sucked.
Well acted and funny film, though.

Brilliant movie, especially the gun stand-off in the hotel :)

WhiteSE 04-24-2009 07:56 PM

I enjoyed it as well..

High point for me: one of the assasins is ordered to kill his partner and when he was about to do so realised that his partner was on the verge of committing suicide. What did he do. He unhesitatingly stopped him, thus saving his partener's life. WTF

Fast_Eddie 04-24-2009 08:07 PM

I efn' loved that movie!

m4rz 04-24-2009 08:09 PM

Regganaut, I guess I should have said I enjoyed the whole thing! Forgot about that scene.

One of the best two hour movie experiences I've had recently. Such a pleasant change from cookie-cutter Hollywood fare.

Great movie.

Filmboydoug 04-24-2009 10:28 PM

Laughed my ass off. Especially when they were doped out.

Great movie and a sleeper that I think over time will become appreciated by more people. It pulls off several different themes and does it very well.

Loved it. I originally saw it in the theater and enjoyed it even more on DVD.

Off topic, I really enjoyed the bonus feature on the disc that showed Bruges. It was obviously b-roll footage but the music track made it especially memorable.

It was a good film all of the way around. Been a few months now since I saw it, but I remember the acting being good. It's also the only film I've like Colin Ferrell in.

I liked the dwarf. :thmbsp:

I happened to see it this last weekend and have been telling anyone who would listen about it. I thought it was brilliant! Very funny and more than a little sick.

leepal 04-28-2009 09:57 AM

yep, I liked it too. Favourite scene is where the Colin Farrell character tries to warn the 3 rather large US tourists about going up a narrow staircase. :D

Strangeband 04-28-2009 10:25 AM

I liked it, too, and really enjoyed the contrast of the setting vs. the theme. The ending troubled me, I have to admit.
