Paul McCartney-TV collector??

Has anyone heard that Beatle Paul is a TV collector?:smoke: I have heard this on more than one occasion and I have seen one picture of Paul in a room full of early sets, but I don't know if they are his.

Wouldn't it be neat if we could have HIM join OUR group? :music:

How do you know he isn't already here? :D:scratch2:

Dan Starnes 03-29-2008 11:06 PM

I've always liked & admired Sir Paul anyway, just another re-inforcement, if its true..

Old1625 03-30-2008 07:41 AM

The way I see it a celebrity is as likely to have such a hobby as anyone else. If Sir Paul is thus afflicted he has my sympathy. :D

Maybe Heather got half of them. :sigh:

Certainly not the consoles! She wouldn't want any with legs on them...

:-P

I wouldn't be surprised... Other celebrities including Billy Crystal are TV collectors.

Now that Sir Paul has paid her a zillion or 2, do you think she'll just GO AWAY ? Nah, we couldn't be that lucky...

Recent news stories have her hiring forensic accountants to go back over his books for more money. What a greedy bi^ch.

She just took the ones with a leg missing. :D

I was wondering, if John was the "Egg Man", and the "Walrus" was Paul; then who the hell were George and Ringo? Was one of them the Leg Man??

Paul, if you are here, or if anyone else knows, please fill me in......

Heather Mills is a gold-digging opportunistic parasite. ...which means she won't go away, just like our Labour government.

As for Sir Paul being a TV collector - fair play :)

Hhhmmm, methinks thou dost protest too much! Welcome, Sir Paul! :D

Actually, if he were/is a member and hangs around here (:scratch2: like he doesn't have "a life" and more important things to do most of the time?), I wouldn't blame him for just lurking and not posting. Probably better for AK and this forum, too, lest it be invaded by Beatles fans with no real interest in vintage TVs. Celebrity has its penalties.

As for Ms. Mills, no comment. If her poor ex-husband actually should read this, why rub salt in what must be a painful enough subject already? After all, he did once love her enough to marry her, and who (besides the two of them) really knows the whole story of the relationship? I pity the man on many levels.

I'd rather Stevie Wonder collected TVs.

You could pawn off all your weak CRTs on him.

...and his music is way better. :D

Could Domfjbrown be Paul?:scratch2: Dig his signature and spelling of the word labor....

What is the phrase that a movie was based upon? Six degrees of separation? It wouldn't surprise me. It means that there are only six associations between any human and any other human, irregardless of their status in life.

Ray Charles was the spokesman for Pioneer Laserdiscs in the early 80s...

Sandy G 04-05-2008 08:34 PM

I always got a kick outta the Eddie Murphy riff where he let Stevie drive...
