Letterbox indeed! :banana: You am correct about that module...according to the diagram inside (on the left) it's number is 9-147

Regarding that '69 set, if I don't hear something by tomorrow then I'll assume it's not gonna happen. Doze bastids!

Also... if I remember correctly if the vertical module goes bad it can shut down high voltage. I think Zenith tied in the high voltage into that module and nearby fuse. Also when I had a Chromacolor 2 repaired recently there are 2 capsin the high voltage section (on the backside of the chassis) that the repair center wanted to replace. Zenith used to sell them in a kit, I had to get them from Moyers. I had the tripler and those caps changed on my set. I also replaced the vertical and horizontal module. Set works pretty good now, but I have put it into storage and am using my 4 tube hybrid Chromacolor instead. It has a better picture and is not as "glitchy".
