In Britian I believe that Nipper is a trademark of EMI, not RCA. The control appears to have a small speaker so you could listen to the sound at your chair, also volume, brightness, and contrast controls. Marlin I don't think so, I have seen localy at least two Australian TV's with similar remotes that are connected to the set through a very thick wire. They were probably the ultra deluxe, ultra expensive models from the early 60's. Quite rare but probably nobody would pay much for them (at least yet):dunno: |
