There was a U.S.version of this set advertized in the back of Radio & TV News in the early to mid 1950s for $99 with the leadin being 'what a great set this would be for color wheel experimenters...'
I have been looking for one of those sets for years..anybody seen one?

Wonder how well a color wheel would work with a projection set if you installed the wheel inside between the tube and the screen?

I believe that those sets in the back of the electronics magazines went under the Norelco name. I have the plans for a color wheel set using that system and the wheel goes just above the projection unit. I would imagine that the picture would be fairly dim as the picture was not that bright to begin with. Even CBS had to lighten their blue filters on their early projection prototypes because of that very problem.

Harry Poster was selling an Emerson projection set on eBay last week that was very similar to the Norelcos. I wanted to bid but the shipping was just too high for what the set was worth.
