I wish I had room, because this is probably the rarest Sony TV to find. It's an LV-1901 from '74-'75, which is also the very first Betamax. They didn't come out with the freestanding Betamax until the following year. Seller says it's clean. I only know of 3 others in the hands of collectors, and only serviced 3 others when I worked for the shop in West LA that was a Sony factory dealer. It's in Canoga Park, which is in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles.

I forgot to mention that one of these was featured in the TV show The Six Million Dollar man in the 70s. It was in Oscar Goldman's office, and in the episode "Kill Oscar", they played a Beta cassete on it with Oscar's official videotaped order to kill him in the event of his capture. I remember watching that episode when it was new, and I thought the idea of a little black plastic tape that could play a picture on TV was a much a sci-fi thing as the whole rest of the show was. But hey; now we actually do have bionic limbs, and six million dollars will barely get you a 4 bedroom house in an upper class part of Los Angeles.
