This is one I haven't seen... Evidently, it's wanna-be pro VCR monitor for people who like gadgets. At first, I thought it was a garden-variety vector scope. But then I noticed "J.C. Penney". :confused:

Then I realized what it is, and started laughing! But I suppose this is weird enough to be collectable. Notice how the seller put it against a background of REAL equipment. I'm surprised it doesn't have a dozen fake Allen-head bolt heads on the front bezel like so many of the cheap audio pieces had in the 80s :lmao:

Yup...I remember those. They were marketed along with the MCS stereo components as a "Hey look! You can now visually monitor your audio signal!" sort of thing. Have seen them in wood cases too.

Apparently its actually a tv reciever? RF in, linelevel out. It's kind of cool, but I dont know what you would ever do with it.

That's actually really cool - it's just so unusual. I want it, but I'm not about to pay $50 plus shipping for it.
