Which means that he modified this set's scan circuits to accept NTSC rates so it could deal with "I love Lucy" videotapes. Not unreasonable, as most people would expect to see a viewable image on a "working" antique TV set. David Roper 10-15-2005, 06:35 AM No mods necessary for it to work, though some very slight mods might make it work a little better such as alignment of the sound IF for best results with the AM detector for slope detection of the FM audio; also there's a few minor changes that can be made to the horizontal sweep section if the width is insufficient, however the range of the horizontal hold control should be ample enough to allow the set sync to NTSC.
