Does anybody remember such a set or anything about it? I used one as a kid and I remember it was a wide wood cabinet with a one-button wired remote to stop one of the screens that both played same thing untill button is pressed. I would like to have one.

Wow - I recall us looking at one in the lab at Motorola - had an analog magnetic hard disc for recording/playing the still frame, IIRC. Do you recall if it could do more than one frame? I was thinking it might have been a prototype shown to us by Sony, but then again, we might have actually bought it retail to analyze it. I still find it hard to believe that any were sold. Early seventies jibes with my memory too.

Don't remember this one-I DO remember Sony making a 12" 3-screen model, maybe a bit earlier than this. Sony's made some pretty "off-the-wall" stuff over the years-they also made a 5" set that the screen would rotate 360, I think. WHY ? is anyone's guess...-Sandy G.

I remember that I could only use the one button to stop and start the one screen and I believe it would respond as fast as I could press it. I think the other screen was only a viewer.
I have often wondered what the most likely application would have been.
I saw this in a small shop in Boca Raton, Fla in mid '74. I think it was a SONY dealer but it could have been an independant shop because the show room was tiny and they were working on an old RCA at the time. That Sony twin screen was up on a shelf in the mini showroom.
