I thought a FADA 940 was a console? On ebay is a service manual
showing a console.

But at link below is a table model???
Any FADA experts?

It looks to me that the one shown on the manual is sitting on a stand with a speaker built in, possibly an option?

According to Harry Posters' book:
The 12" Tabletop is a 930 and the 940 is the console version, however the one on eBay clearly shows a 940 model# on the label. It could've had the chassis switched sometime in the last 50 years or maybe they just ran out of chassis at the factory and stuck in what they had??

On pics of ebay 940 small speaker looks a add on inside cabinet.
I have seen 1 tv where it was a console but top was now cut off to make
table model??

The 940 on ebay looks like the FADA 940 console at http://www.tvhistory.tv/1948-FADA-940-12in.JPG
