Found a unique older 13" Hitachi in a thrift store today. It has a wood cabinet, weighs a ton, and uses a delta CRT and has instant on. It kind of has an early RCA tube set look about it. Anyway.... what year was this made and does anyone have further info, or have one? It's model number CFA-440

thank you. It's an interesting looking set. You never see old Japanese sets in this area. (not even Sony's) I do have a Coronado which is a rebadged Toshiba from 1977, and a very spage-age looking Toshiba from 1976. Both of those use inline tubes.
