ok,well,we sold our 84 space command at my store earlier this week (at least it's goin somewhere) but when i came in today i found out that we got an 84 Chromatic. i believe that's what it's called...i saw the "built on/serviced on" tag on the back that read 1984 (must've been a popular year :dunno: ) and it has a faux wood grain finish with a not too well hidden door over the front controls making only channel selection visable.we also got a few capeharts in (didnt get a chance to sneak a look at them, just noticed 2 sizes,one around 5 or more inches and another larger one...there's also a "trintron" one..? i dont know if i'm spelling it correctly but it says "solid state" (which is my main reason for posting these) along with 3 color ovals by the dial...it's covered in REAL wood, as is noticeable by the bottom part of the frame around the screen is broken? anyways,i'd really like for some of you guys to take a look at these things before they get hauled off by someone who knows nothin or broken/thrown out..we also sell cords for 90 cents each (not just AC adapter cords, but power cords that have been cut off! i recently found an older one with a cloth covering where you could actually SEE the bare wires bolted to the end of the plug) we also have some older combo units with portable TV/radio and such,those obviously havent been big sellers,i dont know why...but i'm just sayin you might wanna come into my store and check it out..we keep power outlets close by for testing and the stock room door is right by the TVs so if you need assistance,odds are SOMEONE will be coming out those doors.like i've said before, our store is on the corner of east Broad and Hamiltion Road, right next door to Alliance Data Systems and the barber college...now i'm gonna stop typing before i sound like a commercial myself :thmbsp:
