I have always dreamed of owning one of these types of radios if I had more room, be it a Grundig, Telefunken, Blaupunkt, or Nordmende! I'm not normally a tube guy but I would gladly make an exception for one in such great shape. Well done, Brown. Nice catch! :thmbsp:

Buy it, treat it with respect for being around still and look at it. Know something cool when I see it, but to me it's art more than gear. Have some car parts that are like that. Would never use it due to the fact I have better, but respect it and treat it like it is art.

Good point, cudaken - I have stuff that I keep because it just looks cool and is a great design for its time.

nice little tabletop you got there.it looks very similar to the jubilette.
i bought my dad one for fathers day awhile back and he loves it at the same time i also found the transistorised version called the jubilette 204 and gave that to him also see here telefunken tabletops (http://audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15546&highlight=telefunken)
i hope to get myself one eventually just for the nostalgic sake .
