Well found another Muntz today. It was SAVED by me at the Salvation Army. It was on the JUNK pile ready to be tossed. They already tossed the BACK! It is a really nice solid wood cabinet. Model run C18B01. SAMS says that it is 830-3 and from 1965-66. They tossed the knobs that were with it. Well another one to save! I have to glue the legs back on. Will do that tonight! I brought this one home in my NEON. No truck pictures. I know that will disappoint some folks. :D

Business end. The tube location sticker says that this set came with a 21FBP22! :scratch2: I wonder if the cover was switched at some point or Mr. Muntz was just that cheap. It has a phono jack hooked up to the speaker?!? I got the SAMS out and it has a 23EGP22 CRT.

Man, some cool stuff coming out of the woodwork lately! Makes me want to go out digging some more!
Maybe Madman was buying those same chassis' as Western Auto? RCA must've really been crankin' em out.

Darn it! No truck picture??
Was Muntz trying to save money by using the knobs to secure the tuner?
