It is a Zenith turntable, with an amplifier and field type speaker. It is in a grey letherette case, with the words"Zenith Cobra" on the speaker grille. by the turntable, it says"not for sale, for demonstration use only". The tonearm DOES have the shape of a cobra head, even has "eyes "on it!

ever seen one before guys? I have, on ebay a couple of times.

Ive seen a couple of them before.
They call some of them Cobramatic.

Whats the model number?

Found it in the trash back in the early '70s.Strange changer, had an electric relay type trip mechanism, and continuously adjustable for the "upcoming intermediate " speeds which, of course, never came out.Nice amp,too.2 6v6s (or 6L6?)output tubes.Had a chassis switch which changed the sound quality slightly, maybe a 2 way impedance circuit.2 way speakers. They're really interesting.Anyone know why Zenith chose to model the tonearm after a Cobra? Methinks there were Freudian undercurrents going on........

Man, I thought we were talking Mustangs
