Someone from one of my vintage stereo console groups just posted a mid-50s Fisher combo they picked up - never seen one like it before. I was wondering who would have made the TV (presumably Sanyo weren't available at that point), and wouldn't you know...it's a Conrac! I didn't know they made receivers. Pretty cool.

Besides monitors, Conrac made some tuners for TV stations as well.

I'd love to see the schematic for that TV; wonder if it was anything out of the ordinary, or a clone of a more common maker.
Also, too bad the tube has a brightener on it.
I feel like I've seen that rack mount tuner or a similar one a long time ago. May have been an old piece of gear already when I got out of schoool in 1966?

I've got one of those tuners with a dial with lights for each channel number. I use it with my TM-21 and CYP21 monitors.
